Colossians 2:2-3
You CAN KNOW for sure where you will go when you die.
So many people today don't know what to believe about what will happen when they die. Perhaps like many, you've gone through life picking and choosing from the smorgasboard of beliefs, yet in your gut you don't have any idea what is true. Popular belief and science are constantly changing. The Bible hasn't. The truth found in its pages remains the same because the God that it reveals doesn't change. The Bible says that you can know for sure where you will spend eternity. If you want to know what it takes to know for sure that you will go to heaven when you die, listen to the recording below. Below is a written summary of the recording. When you finish, I would love to get your feedback!
-
You are a sinner in need of someone to save you from the eternal punishment by a holy God for your sins. (sin is anything done against God's law)
-
Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
-
Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death..." (Just like at a job you earn a wage for your work, what you earn for your sin is eternal separation from God in hell.)
-
-
Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation for your sins.
-
John 14:6 says, "Jesus answered, 'I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me.'"
-
Acts 4:12 says speaking of Jesus, "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name, under heaven, given among men, whereby you must be saved."
-
-
Jesus showed his love for you by dying on the cross for your sins.
-
Romans 5:8 says, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
-
-
You can be saved through faith (belief) in Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection as payment for your sins.
-
Ephesians 2:8-9 says, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast."
